PADI Emergency First Response Course

Interested in the lifesaving side of diving? If so, our Emergency First Response course is a good thing to have under your belt. It gives you all the tools you need to perform CPR and First Aid. You don’t need any diving qualifications to sign up, either. In fact, you don’t have to be a diver at all. The course prepares you to handle potentially life-threatening situations correctly – whether you’re in or out of the water. And if you are a scuba diver, it’s a great skill to have, just in case.
Our Emergency First Response course teaches you serious emergency response skills in an upbeat environment. A mix of independent study and hands-on experience, the comprehensive programme is split in to two core modules – Primary Care and Secondary Care. It can be taught in tandem or as stand-alone courses. You’ll learn...

  • • Basic first aid
  • • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR and rescue breathing
  • • Preventing and caring for shock
  • • Spinal injury management
  • • Use of barriers to reduce the risk of transmission diseases
